Verify If The Coffee Bean Has A Glossy Appearance

If you buy a bulk amount of coffee beans, you can put half-cup beans in a resealable bag. Then, you squeeze out the air and place them on the kitchen counter all night long. If those beans are freshly roasted between 7 to 10 days, the bag will blow up due to carbon dioxide outgassing.
